Data Protection Notice

Privacy information in clear terms

Pilot Anselmo processes only the information reasonably needed to operate the footage store, deliver licences, respond to requests and meet legal obligations. Different platform providers may also process information under their own privacy notices.

01

Who is responsible for your information?

For personal information processed for Pilot Anselmo's own business purposes, the controller is:

Pilot Anselmo

Operated by Luiz Anselmo
Hilversum, The Netherlands
Email: luizdeanselmo@gmail.com

No data protection officer has been appointed because Pilot Anselmo does not currently conduct processing that requires one. Gumroad and other service providers may act as processors or as independent controllers for parts of their services.

02

What this policy covers

This policy applies when you:

  • browse Pilot Anselmo pages hosted through Gumroad;
  • purchase or download an Individual Clip or Area Collection;
  • choose or request licensing rights;
  • submit a Request Coverage or General Enquiry form through the Pilot Anselmo Framer website;
  • contact Pilot Anselmo by email or through customer support.

External websites, social platforms and payment services have their own privacy notices. Their processing is not controlled by this policy where they act independently.

03

Information that may be collected

Contact and enquiry information

Name, email address, phone number, company, project details, requested location, message and any other information you choose to submit.

Purchase and licence information

Name, email address, billing or transaction information, products purchased, licence version, checkout answers and receipt details.

Support correspondence

Questions, licence requests, refund requests, technical issues and communications concerning a purchase or project.

Technical and usage information

IP address, browser, device, approximate location, page activity and security logs collected by hosting, commerce or infrastructure providers.

Payment-card information

Pilot Anselmo does not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Gumroad and its payment providers process payment details under their own responsibilities and notices.

04

Why information is used and the legal basis

Purchases and delivery

To process orders, provide digital files, record the selected licence and support the transaction. Basis: performance of a contract and steps requested before a contract.

Coverage and licence enquiries

To assess a request, reply, prepare a quotation and discuss a possible project. Basis: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interests in operating the business.

Customer support

To answer questions, resolve delivery issues, handle complaints and protect licensed rights. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.

Accounting, tax and compliance

To retain transaction records, comply with legal duties and respond to lawful requests. Basis: legal obligation.

Security and misuse prevention

To protect the store, files, accounts and licensing system against fraud, abuse and unauthorised access. Basis: legitimate interests and legal obligations where applicable.

Optional marketing

To send promotional email only when an appropriate legal basis applies. Where consent is requested, it can be withdrawn at any time.

Pilot Anselmo does not currently operate a direct newsletter through these custom store pages. If a newsletter is introduced, the collection point will explain the purpose and provide an unsubscribe method.

05

How information is obtained

Information may be obtained:

  • directly from you through a purchase, form, email or support conversation;
  • from Gumroad in connection with a purchase, digital delivery or seller workflow;
  • from Framer when you submit a coverage or general enquiry form;
  • automatically from technical systems used to host, secure and operate the pages;
  • from an authorised representative, employer, agency or production company acting for you.
06

Who may receive information

Information may be shared only where needed with:

  • Gumroad, for ecommerce, payment, delivery, seller workflows, tax, security and transaction administration;
  • Framer, for website hosting and form processing;
  • payment, banking and fraud-prevention providers involved in Gumroad transactions;
  • email, storage and business-software providers used to answer enquiries and maintain records;
  • professional advisers such as accountants, insurers or legal advisers where necessary;
  • authorities, courts or regulators where disclosure is legally required;
  • contractors who require limited information to perform an approved project and are subject to appropriate confidentiality duties.

Gumroad may act as a processor for seller-controlled buyer data and as an independent controller for activities such as payment processing, fraud prevention, tax and operating its service. Framer acts as a processor for customer-controlled data under its data-processing terms.

07

International data transfers

Some service providers or their subprocessors may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, those transfers should be protected through an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

More information about platform transfers is available in the privacy and data-processing documentation published by Gumroad and Framer.

08

How long information is kept

Unsuccessful enquiries

Normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a shorter period is appropriate or longer retention is required for a dispute.

Project and support correspondence

Normally for the project or support period and up to 24 months afterwards, unless it forms part of a contract, licence, accounting record or legal claim.

Transaction and accounting records

Normally 7 years, or longer where Dutch or other applicable tax law requires it.

Licence records

For the life of the licence and as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate the rights granted, manage misuse or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Technical logs

According to the retention periods applied by the relevant hosting, commerce and security providers, subject to applicable law.

Information may be deleted or anonymised earlier where it is no longer needed and no legal or contractual reason requires continued retention.

09

Cookies and technical data

Gumroad, Framer and their infrastructure providers may use essential cookies or similar technologies to deliver pages, maintain security, remember settings, prevent fraud and process transactions. They may also collect technical information about page use under their own notices.

Pilot Anselmo does not intentionally add third-party advertising cookies to these custom store pages. Non-essential analytics or marketing tools will only be enabled where an appropriate legal basis and, where required, a consent mechanism are in place.

You can manage browser cookies through your device settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect checkout or page functionality.

10

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • receive information about how your data is processed;
  • access your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion where the legal conditions are met;
  • restrict processing in specified circumstances;
  • receive portable data where applicable;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing;
  • withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing;
  • avoid a decision based solely on automated processing where it has legal or similarly significant effects.

Pilot Anselmo does not currently use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

A request may require reasonable identity verification. Some information cannot be deleted immediately where it must be retained for tax, accounting, contractual or legal-claim purposes.

11

Security

Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect information against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. These include limiting access, using established platform providers and maintaining account-security controls.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary enquiry forms or email.

12

Children

The footage store and commercial licensing services are intended for adults and business users. Pilot Anselmo does not knowingly seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian should contact Pilot Anselmo if they believe a child has submitted personal information.

13

Changes to this policy

This notice may be updated when services, providers, legal requirements or processing practices change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.

14

Contact and complaints

Send privacy questions or rights requests to luizdeanselmo@gmail.com or use the General Enquiry form.

Please contact Pilot Anselmo first so the request or concern can be reviewed. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Platform-specific requests may also need to be submitted directly to Gumroad, Framer or another independent controller where that organisation is responsible for the relevant processing.
